Try to peel the two edges apart.

Speakers or parts with burnt voice coils, blistered voice coils, torn cones, spiders, or other signs of abuse, amplifier malfunction, crossover malfunction, or MI's use will not be covered under warranty. I found you guys and ordered a set. This is just a note of thanks. It turned out to be ordinary contact cement that had no work time. Test the horn by hooking it up directly outside the speaker cabinet at low power.

The video instructions have been unusually helpful, especially the hints to apply adhesive to the back side of the foam before turning it over and attaching it to the cone. I re foamed my 8 woofers from 1985 and the sound is fantastic. Do not glue anything if you are unsure of the fit or sizing.

I went to repaint the boxes and the foam just fell off.
