I personally tested each driver through an appropriate crossover using high frequency sweeps and found no voice coil issues.

These tweeters are used in Klipsch heritage series speakers using 8 ohm tweeters which is all since maybe the '60's Klipsch horn, Cornwall, Scala, belle, heresy, etc. Also, these are replacements for electrifies t35 8 ohm tweeters.
